About Me

My name is Megan Loperena and I am a stylist and creator of the Hair Stair™️.

A few things you should know about me; I am a wife and mom of two boys. I love my boys and have had the best time watching them grow. They are smart, sweet, and respectful. As much as I miss them being little, I have enjoyed them at every stage. My husband Eric and I have been together for more than two decades.  He is my rock, uplifter, and biggest fan.  Time really does fly when you are having fun, and hustling kids to and from sports. I love spending my time with family, friends, and attending any social event. Traveling, tacos, and girls' trips are the best! I am in love with my dogs and I absolutely love goats! If you hang around me long enough, I will convince you that you can do or be anything you want. Last but not least, I love doing hair!

I have loved doing hair since I was a little girl. Whether a person, a pet, or a my little pony, nonetheless if it had hair- I loved it. As I grew, I realized early on that I don’t  just love doing hair, I love how it makes people feel. 

For the past 20 years, I have poured my heart and soul into my career. I have had my share of ups and downs. I have cried happy tears, sad tears, and tears of frustration. From accidentally turning someone blue, to shaving heads before chemo. Through the best of times, and those more difficult, I have always loved being behind the chair.  

All of this has brought me to where I am today. I am forever grateful for my family and friends who have listened to me talk non stop about the Hair Stair the last few years. Thank you to all my beautiful clients, if it wasn’t for you filling my chair, the Hair Stair would not exist.
